August 2011 - This t-stat is awesome. The amount of data that stores for you is amazing. It really lets you make informed decisions and provides complete and total flexibility. I installed 2 of them eight months ago in a vacation house and am tempted to buy 2 more for primary residence.

March 2011 - Inside of an hour I installed the BayWeb thermostat and was up and running. Most of that time was running an ethernet cable to my heater. This was super fast and I loved that I did not have to pull any cables to the thermostat! Then I spent an hour crawling through my attic to lay wires for a motion detector - this is awesome functionality in this device. Now I can control the thermostat based on motion in the living space .. really love it.

February 2011 - I bought the advanced controller model with motion sensor and installed in July, 2010. Quick install, reliable device and reliable website - no issues in last six months. Excellent product. Before I had a manual thermostat (lol) and had to constantly adjust before going out, sleep etc. Now with motion sensor enabled, I programmed it so it turns on heat/cool only when we are home and does not waste energy. The wall/display unit is simple for anyone to use without clutter of buttons or features. Website controls are great. Particularly, when we are out of home for a few days, I use by blackberry to turn on heat from road a couple of hrs before reaching home.

September 2010 - I've installed six Bay web thermostats in the business. My usage includes gas heater only, two stage cooling / two stage heating, to single stage cooling / heater pump with electric back up. I've been able to remove the unsightly plastic bubbles from my thermostats, which bare the scars of employee's determination. On the floor, I have the stats in an over side electric boxes (out of site - out of mind). In the offices I've covered the led display with tape (from the inside) so no number can be seen. The level of control is unheard of. The easy of programming; like going from a VCR to Tivo! The data charts show me thermal loss due to wind & or sun. I've connected the alarm input to a PLC. The PLC confirms the heater / A/C operation. A failure will trigger a message to my phone & E-mail. So cost effective is the Bayweb thermostat, I bought one for my home. - Matt

May 2010 - I wanted to tell how impressed I am with you thermostats! I installed one to evaluate the product and will now be ordering more for my home. Has there been any consideration to allow local configuration if for what ever reason your servers are no longer available to configure remotely? The current setup works great I just like the idea of a backup plan should something happen to your server access. Also have you considered color change kits? I seems it would be easy to change the outer ring and make additional money on color kits. Once again thanks for an EXCELLENT product! - Jim

April 2010 - I just wanted you folks to know how impressed I am with my Bayweb! Installation was a breeze and the Cloud access is very very cool!...not to mention the money I'm saving My only disappointment is the motion sensor.. But I bought and insteon sensor and relay and worked around the x-10 limitation Overall an A+ - Paul

Sept 2009 - Put the HVAC Web Based thermostat in yesterday (9/3/09) from Bay Controls LLC of Maumee OH - Very impressed with quality and it WORKED first pass, no troubleshooting or phone calls. Instructions are very well done. I miss having products, information, and technical sales and support made in the US! First pass at the web browser on my Blackberry WORKED first pass, fired up the heater, turned off the heat, turned on the AC and back to off. Very fast (less than 3 seconds) response from Activate button on phone to the A/C turning on. *Very COOL and HOT.* Another feature that surprised me was the very readable temperature readout on the wall thermostat. Its large LED green that can be seen nicely day or night and from a good 20 feet away. Does not get to bright in the dark of the night. In the past we had to go to the thermostat and see what the temperature was and what the pre-programmed status was and usually it got put into HOLD, now that's the old days. This is an incredible value of the Century for $220 plus $20 for a wireless X10 motion sensor and Web portal data retention and control. I purchased the dual phase unit, not because of HVAC, but because it can take 3 wired extra devices to be alerted, i.e sump pump water failure switch, unauthorized entry into the house, fire detector (All Web Based and mobile alerted). - Rex

Sept 2009 - Bought it through Amazon and installed it in my mother's home across town. She was unable to operate her old programmable thermostat due to vision problems because although the LCD display was large enough it was just too dim. I adjust it for her if she phones me. If I just logon and see that she's set the A/C down to 60 degrees by mistake, I adjust it to a more reasonable setting without even calling her. If she's sick I can check the ambient temperature and settings and call to see if she's too cold or hot. Amazing. So far it's performing very well. Web setup was a snap. You guys have obviously perfected a great idea. I'm quite impressed. Thanks for a terrific product. It will pay for itself quickly in energy and travel savings alone. BTW - even without the web connection it's better than any other thermostat on the market for elderly users who have trouble seeing the grey LCD numbers on other thermostats. So simple to use. This is the fifth thermostat I've installed for her and hopefully it'll be the last. You might want to market it to people who have vision problems... the bright display is a quantum leap over those dim, complicated LCD display thermostats ! - R

Aug 2009 - I installed one of your thermostats this past weekend at my weekend cabin and I must say that I am most impressed with your product! I have wished and wanted a device like yours for three years so that we could make the 4 hour trip to the lake and actually enjoy the house for the first 4 hours for a change. Usually, that is how long it takes the central A/C to cool off the 95 degree house to a bearable 78 degrees! That is, until now. I love the web portal and the charts and data that I can log in and see. I have always had programmable thermostats to save money and make life easier, but now, I am going to buy another one of these gems and install it in my main home as well. Best $200 I have spent in a long time!! BTW, I just love that I can have a basic intrusion monitoring sent to my iPhone instantly. That is just the icing on an already impressive cake!! - Steve
