For Property ManagersCut your energy costs and protect your managed property with the BAYweb Thermostat. The BAYweb Thermostat can use occupancy sensing to automatically set back the heating and cooling set points when the managed property is not occupied, or alternatively you can use the web portal to schedule occupancy. You can also avoid excess energy costs by limiting the amount of adjustment your tenants can make to the set points, or lock the keypad to prevent any local changes. The BAYweb Thermostat can be shared between different web portal accounts. This allows you to provide your tenants with remote monitoring, remote monitoring and control, or complete access, at your discretion. The BAYweb Thermostat will notify you of problems with your heating or air conditioning, and other important potential problems, such as a break-in, water leak, or sump pump failure. These alerts are delivered to your mobile phone and to a list of email addresses you select. You will also be alerted if the Internet connection used by the thermostat goes offline for more than 10 minutes. This warns you that you will not receive other alerts until the Internet connection is restored. The BAYweb Thermostat requires an always on Internet connection, such as broadband, or DSL. It uses very little bandwidth so you will not notice any performance impact on your other Internet uses. The BAYweb Thermostat is the least expensive and most full featured Internet enabled thermostat available. There are no additional or ongoing fees required. Typical energy savings will pay for the thermostat in about a year. |
